Linker Signs MoU with NCKU to Drive Comprehensive AI Development and Talent Incubation


Linker Networks has further enhanced partnership with the National Cheng-Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan, by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on December 10th, 2020. Under the agreement, Linker and NCKU will collaborate on innovative artificial intelligence (AI) development and strategic talent cultivation.



Linker as a key member of Shalun Innovation Alliance (SIA), an industry-government-academia platform initiated by NCKU, will closely work together with NCKU and SIA to offer new AI-empowered technologies and solutions, including 3D and LiDAR AI on autonomous driving, AI detections of human behavior, safety equipment, AI dengue fever prevention, and so on. The Proof-of-Concept and Business will be executed in the demonstration venue provided by SIA and local government. A formal industry-academia collaboration between Linker and NCKU Hospital, a challenging medical imaging AI project, has also been in full action and is projected to commercialize for global launch.


The agreement, in addition, accelerates collaborations between NCKU and Linker to discover academic talents in fields of Data Scientist, Software Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, QA and Field Engineer. A sustained and comprehensive talent incubation program will be held by this alliance, offering internships and training programs, and creating global opportunities for these talents.
